Every couple’s story is so unique. My favorite part of working with couples is hearing the history of it all. I’m a bit nostalgic and a hopeless romantic, so I love hearing the story of how you two met, how your paths crossed, and all the serendipity that brought you two to this moment in time. The truth is,
your wedding is a day to celebrate you two, but it’s so much more than that.
It’s a way of merging two families and bringing generations together to witness this day. Think of all of the people that needed to exist in order for you two to meet, and on your wedding day, they get to celebrate under one roof. Having the honor as your photographer to witness it all unfold feels a lot like
watching two people who just won the lottery.
Documentary photo and video gives you the opportunity to capture these candid moments between families and is a way of preserving your family’s legacy. You won’t need to worry about me asking you to reserve time specifically for me; I believe that your wedding day is your day to do whatever it is that makes your heart sing, and I will be there to capture all the moments most important to you. Of course, if that means you’d love to set aside time for portraits, we can definitely do that too! I offer the option of having some candid portraiture as well, and it can be a great way for you two to have some quiet, one-on-one time during your wedding day. Plus, we'll make sure you get comfortable in front of the camera during your engagement session.
